Okay, so I started playing my nuzlocke, right?  Emerald came in the mail yesterday.  I came home and started playing until 1 o'clock in the AM.  This is how it went:

At first I thought I was super lucky, ya know?  Cause I got a freaking FEMALE Torchic.  Hellz yeah.  

(Grumble grumble.   and her shiny Torchic...  Grumble grumble.)
Cindy the Torchic joined the team!  8D  (Lv 5, female, [Growl & Scratch])

But from then on my luck started falling.  And by falling I mean like how when you fall you accelerate until you hit the ground.  Yeah, like that.  

So I couldn't catch any pokemon on the first two routes because I had no balls >:[  So I was shit outta luck there.  Then when I finally COULD catch one, I made the freaking wurmple faint...  So I had only one pokemon up until I got to the town where you meet your dad.  And since I'm playing a combined nuzlocke with my boyfriend, I was texting him the entire time.  What made me feel SUPER unlucky was the fact that he was already further than I was by that point AND had four pokemon already...  And to rub it in even more, I had to watch/help that Wally kid catch a Ralts...

But I FINALLY caught a pokemon... after using THREE pokeballs... on a wurmple... =3=;
"You will be my Wurmple and you shall be mine!"
Squishy the Wurmple joined the Team!  8D  (Lv 4, male, [Tackle & String Shot])

So then I had two pokemon and things were looking up.  After some level grinding, an evolution from a Wurmple to a Cascoon, and a few close calls,  I decided to move onto Petalburg Woods.

First new encounter was a Poochyena.  I decided to use Squishy's Poison Sting to make it easier to catch, which worked WONDERS for me!  8D  Until the shaking screen SLAPPED me in the face...

Kinsey fainted before I made it to the Pokemon Center...
Boy did I feel stupid after that...

1 down, however many to go... (Or so I thought...)

Then my brilliant self forgot to heal at the Center while I was "burying" Kinsey.  As I was walking over to the woods again, I met a Taillow that I could not escape from, even though I had a higher level.  This thing was DETERMINED to kill something.  
"Run," "Can't escape!" "Taillow used Growl," "Run," "Can't escape!" "Taillow used Focus Energy," "Run," "Taillow used Growl," "Run (does this thing even have any attacks?)," "Can't escape!" "Tailow used Peck!  Critical hit!  It's super effective!" "Squishy fainted..."

FUUUUUUUUUU!!!

So THIS time when I went to bury (release) my pokemon, it kept comming back to me... After five times of trying to get rid of it, I was finally just like, "Ookaayy… I guess I'm just going to have to take this zombie Cascoon with me then..."

So after making it through the woods with a Slakoth and more Poochyena taunting me, I got to the next town... And caught ANOTHER Poochyena...

So I stayed in that town for a long time just FRUSTRATINGLY level grinding.  Nincada taunting me harder than ever due to the Bug vs. Dark type =3=

So I stopped after Jimmy and Squishy were both Level 9 and Cindy was a Level 13 and finally went to sleep.
My boyfriend ended the night with a Mudkip, a Wurmple, a Poochyena, a Zigzagoon,  a Nincada, and a Taillow.
He lost one Zigzagoon to the Gym leader.

This morning I woke up and turned my game on to find my bad luck CRASH into the ground by finging THIS lovely message on my game:

"Save file lost due to damage or corruption..."

...

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU


So, yeah, that's it.  That is my ENTIRE Nuzolcke challenge...  I'mna have to find another game that WON'T quit on me this time... =3=  Stupid game from e-bay...

Sigh, yeah.  Luckly my boyfriend is willing to wait until then and he's not a jerk who would just be like, "You lost, haha!  Bake me cake nao!" No.  He even offered me his brother's Ruby version, but me being me, I would just get attached to the pokemon and end up not wanting to give it back.  I'm weird, I've been making stories with my pokemon way before I even knew about Nuzlocke.  And the pokemon I have suck pokeballs.  I'm good when it comes to beating the stupid NPC in-game characters.  Duh.  But when it comes to beating MY FRIENDS, I be trippin pokeballs... I wouldn't stand even a chance if I were to find... say, a super nerd (not an insult, some of my best friends are nerds~ ) at a convention or on a wireless connection or something.  They would basically LAUGH and I would die.  No battle, nothing XD

What was my point again...?   Oh yeah! XD  So I play for the friendships, not for the super training shit.  I never know what I'm doing...  (God, I am such a fuqing girl... XD)

Oh yeah, and to , If I were to give you the souls of my dead pokemon, would they be safe in your hands or would they end up in a place where I don't want them?  O_o

Dude, okay, so I might be doing a freaking nuzlocke comic pretty soon!! XD

So, it all started when this lovely friend of mine --> was talking to me about someone she watches here on dA doing a nuzlocke soon.  So we started all up and talking about nuzlockes and shit, and then I'm talking to my boyfriend, see, (gawd that's still weird to say .-.) about nuzlockes and he's all, "What's a nuzlocke?"

"WHA!?  YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A NUZLOCKE IS!?"
"No"

Basically you get any pokemon game.  (EMERALD GET :3)
Rule #1)  You can ONLY capture the VERY first pokemon you encounter in each new area.  (RATTATA GET for example)
If you miss out on that opportunity, tough noogies.  You can't catch the next pokemon you see >:C Because THAT WOULD BE BREAKING THE RULES! D:<
Rule #2) If any of your pokemanz faint, you must treat it like it's dead and you MUST release it.  (RATTATA UN-GET D: )

So, yeah So my boyfriend and I started all up and talking about nuzlockes and shit and he was all, "Let's do this! "

And I was all, "HMM... OKAY"

So we decided that we're gonna do a nuzlocke challenge together


After my mom and I went through hell to get me a new (old) Emerald game,  (seriously, did you know they don't sell GBA games at Game Stop anymore!?  Those fiends! D: )  my boyfriend and I decided on how we were gonna do this.

It's gonna be a combined comic.
That means that we each draw some pannels from our own points of view & our own stories and we put them on the same page.

It's gonna be a competition.
Whoever gets farther in the game (beats the game) first wins.  Loser has to bake the winner a cake.  If I win, he bakes me a Rainbow Dash cake.  (swag~ )  And if he wins, I bake him a black forrest cake.  (You know, from Portal )

We're gonna play by the rules.
Unlike somebody I know who BREAKS THEM >:C
You can't just screw the rules because you have money!
Not unless you're Seto motherfucking Kiba

See, I've wanted Emerald version for a very long time now for one reason...  Rayquaza...  So I think I'm just gonna capture that thing and box it, you know?  I mean, I don't really understand why catching legendaries is breaking the rules anyway, sooooo.... Yeah =3=
